동백의 섬 내도에 들어가면(2)

동백의 섬 내도에 들어가면 봄의 중심 한 가운데로 붉은 향을 뿜어내며 떨어지는 꽃비를 보게 된다

자신이 누군지도 모르는 남루한 육신들을 위해 눈부시게 빛나는 심장의 언어로 유적이 되는 꽃덩이다

봄의 개화를 위해 목숨 끊어 길을 내고 어둠 속에서도 스스로 발화해 빛나는 사랑을 완성하는

그게 바로 내 사랑이다

가장 눈부신 순간에 소멸하는 동백의 심장은 전 생애를 바친 그리움이 된다

이 세상 모든 기호와 감탄사를 동원해도 채울 수 없는 붉은 기운은 내 눈을 멀게하고

허공에 뿌려진 붉은 피는 그대로 봄볕처럼 부드럽게 내 정수리에 스며든다

바위틈과 틈 사이에 피어있는 잔설 위 사랑의 부호처럼 떨어진 붉은 동백 한 송이

바다를 눈앞에 두고 장엄한 풍경을 만든다

단 한 번도 자신이 태어난 나무에 오르지 않고 뒤도 돌아보지 않고 

처연히 단호히 떨어지는 수십 수백 수천의 동백 꽃 무리들은 붉은 언어의 파편들이다

붉은 꽃방석이 수없이 놓여있는 길을 따라 걷다보면 수백의 동박새 울음소리 파르르 떨리고

수많은 발자국을 뒤덮은 저 핏빛 동백꽃향기로 내도의 사방이 뼛속까지 붉게 물든다

When you step into the island of camellias, you find yourself in the heart of spring,

Witnessing a rain of flowers that exude a crimson scent as they fall.

For the humble bodies who don't even know who they are,

It becomes a monument, shining brilliantly with the language of the heart.

To pave the way for the blossoming of spring, it sacrifices its life,

Completing a love that ignites itself even in the darkness—

That is precisely my love.

The camellia's heart, which vanishes at its most dazzling moment,

Becomes a lifelong yearning it has devoted itself to.

Even if you mobilize all the symbols and exclamations of this world,

The unfillable red energy blinds my eyes,

And the red blood scattered in the air softly seeps into my crown like spring sunlight.

A single red camellia that falls, like the symbol of love on the thin snow between the rocks,

Creates a majestic landscape with the sea right before it.

Never climbing the tree they were born from, never looking back,

The groups of camellias that fall resolutely are fragments of a red language.

As you walk along the path where countless red flower cushions are laid,

The cries of hundreds of camellia birds tremble,

And the scent of the crimson camellias that cover numerous footsteps dyes the island's surroundings to the bone.
