동백의 섬 내도에 들어가면(1)

동백의 섬 내도에 들어가면 취한 듯 홀린 듯 몸 따로 마음 따로 유체이탈이 된다 

가장 화려하고 아름다운 자태를 뽐내며 낙화한 동백은 스스로 무수히 많은 길을 내고

표지판도 속도제한도 없는 그 길 위에 서면 누구나 무중력의 상태로 황홀경에 빠진다

붉은 심장 같은 꽃덩이 가장 향이 짙을 때 세상에서는 배우지 못했던 자연의 이치를

동백은 스스로 목숨을 끊어 저리도 아름답게 보여 준다

생애 처음으로 피보다 더 붉은 동백꽃 길을 걸어보니 발 밑 우주가 온통 불타고 있어

유언처럼 땅에 새겨진 붉은 꽃덩이들 그대로 쿵쾅쿵쾅 뛰고 있는 심장이 된다

적멸보궁이 따로 있을까

자신의 심장을 던져 세상에 없는 길을 만들고 죄 많은 육신으로 하여 순간의 부처를 만나게 한다

한 번 내도에 들어오면 바람마저 그 길을 비껴가긴 어려운 일

내가 버린 딱딱한 욕망 저기 동백꽃길 위에 떨어져 불타고

 춘백과 홍백으로 아름답다 말하기 어려워 조용히 내 심장 내려놓는다

When you step into the inner realm of Camellia Island,

Your body and soul part ways, as if in a trance, as if astral projecting.

The camellia, in its most radiant and beautiful form,

Sheds its petals, paving countless paths on its own.

Standing on that road, devoid of signs or speed limits,

Anyone plunges into ecstasy, as if in a state of zero gravity.

When the flower clusters, red as hearts, are most fragrant,

They teach the laws of nature that the world never taught.

The camellia ends its own life to show such beauty.

For the first time in my life, as I walk the path of redder-than-blood camellias,

The universe beneath my feet is ablaze.

The red flower clusters, imprinted on the earth like a will,

Become the beating heart beneath my feet.

Is there a separate archery of annihilation?

Throwing one's own heart to create a path that doesn't exist,

Meeting a momentary Buddha with a sinful flesh.

Once you enter the inner realm, even the wind finds it hard to avoid that path.

The rigid desires I've abandoned are now burning on the camellia path,

Too beautiful to describe in red and white, I quietly lay down my heart.
